The WILD POPPIES series takes inspiration from the frayed, yet spectacular beauty of wild poppies.

Each paper and tissue layer has been hand dyed and painted to create poppies’ ragged, henna and saffron silk petals. The petals are then collaged layer by layer to create an evocative image of delicate and vibrant poppies.

Mixed Media: acrylics, Japanese papers and tissues - on stretched canvas (4 x oil based UV satin varnish layers), ready to hang.

This acrylic/collage painting is sold without an external decor frame. However, this stretched canvas can be immediately hung on the wall and comes with a certificate of authenticity, enjoy!
